The condition of the public roads as a result of the prevailing weather conditions

The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior announced that a number of roads in the governorates of Hama, Lattakia and Sweida are impassable or difficult to pass due to the accumulation of snow and ice formation.

In its bulletin this morning, the administration indicated that the Shatah, Joubh-Bargal and Ain al-Krum al-Qardah roads in Hama are impassable due to the formation of ice.

And in Lattakia… The roads of Beit Yashout Al-Ghab and Jubah Burgal Al-Ghab are not passable due to the accumulation of snow, and all the roads leading to the district of Slunfeh are difficultly passable for the same reason.

As for As-Suwayda, the roads of Shahba Namira, Shahba Ghayda and Umm Dhabeeb Namira Tema, and the roads leading to the Al-Mashnaf district, are passable with difficulty due to the formation of ice.

The Traffic Department advised drivers to exercise caution during the prevailing weather conditions, especially during the formation of snow or the occurrence of frost, fog and precipitation, and the need to ensure the technical readiness of the vehicle and reduce speed on curves and slopes.

The Traffic Department has allocated the numbers 5422703 and 5411365 for citizens to inquire about the condition of the roads.
