The Rebbe Rabbi Josiah Pinto, leader of the Shuva Yisrael congregation, landed last night in Moldova, accompanied by his son Rabbi Yoel Pinto, and met with Sergio Pruden - Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Moldova and Vadim Krasnoselsky - President of Transnistria, in the efforts of Rabbi Pinto to preserve the ancient Jewish cemetery of the town of Rashkov, where the world's greats are buried, and to preserve the ancient synagogue where the late Rabbi Shabtai Marshkov prayed.
Rabbi Pinto's meetings with local politicians were accompanied by the rabbi of Moldova, Rabbi Pinchas Salzman, who works hard to revive the Jewish communities in the country.
At the center of the meetings, the President and the Minister of Culture and Tourism promised to do everything in their power to preserve and renovate the ancient Jewish cemetery and the synagogue.
The Rebbe Rabbi Pinto greeted and encouraged them, "The right of the holy righteous that lies here - will stand for you and your seed," said the Rebbe.

Afterwards, the Rebbe Rabbi Pinto arrived at the ancient synagogue where, as mentioned, Rabbi Shabtai Marshkov, one of the disciples of the Baal Shem Tov Zia, prayed, who was known for his Siddur according to the intentions of the Aryans.
The visit was extensively covered by the local media, which quoted Rabbi Pinto as saying that "this is the only place left of Rabbi Shabtai of Rashkov - a Baal Shem Tov disciple, and we must preserve and care for this holy place and the ancient Jewish cemetery where world greats are buried."
From the synagogue, the Rebbe Rabbi Pinto asked to come to the Jewish refugee compound who came from Ukraine, where he was accompanied by his international activist Yaakov Plitskin.
The Rebbe Rabbi Pinto strengthened the spirit of the refugees and promised to continue to help them and take care of all their needs, within the framework of the huge aid system operated by his students, since the outbreak of the war.

In the refugee camp, Rabbi Pinto also met the many volunteers who came from several countries to help the refugees, led by Ihud Hatzalah volunteers. The variety for adults and children and the shows for teenagers designed to lift their spirits and encourage them.
Later that night, Rabbi Pinto came to the memorial of the owner of the "Wonder Counselor" Rabbi Eliezer Papo Zatzokal in Bulgaria.
