This coming Shabbat we will read in the synagogue the Parshas Shemini in which the Torah tells us about the humility of Moshe Rabbeinu Gd in front of his brother Aharon the High Priest. The commandment of the Blessed One.

Here are Rabbi Pinto's full remarks:

Rabbi Pinto explains (Photo: PR)

We see in this week's Torah portion, "And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron." , But Moshe Rabbeinu lost the priesthood and gave it to Aharon.

But one can say a frightening thing that every man should put in his soul: when Moshe Rabbeinu was a shepherd in Jethro's house, one sheep fled and Moshe Rabbeinu chased after her.

Suddenly Gd saw a spectacle that the bush was burning with fire and we were not eating, for seven consecutive days Moshe Rabbeinu stood there and Gd begged him to go and redeem the children of Israel, and Moshe Rabbeinu told Gd that he could not.

Gd asked Moshe Rabbeinu why, Moshe Rabbeinu answered Gd that my older brother, he is the king and he is the rabbi and leader of the people of Israel in the land of Egypt, suddenly I will come and I will take it I do not want.

For seven consecutive days God stands and convinces Moses to go and redeem the children of Israel, but Moses did not want to harm Aaron.

Gd said to Moshe Rabbeinu (Exodus 4, Yad) "And see and rejoice in his heart" that Aharon will rejoice in this, but Moshe Rabbeinu does not want to. From commentaries, for this Moses was punished for not being a high priest.

For the fact that Moshe Rabbeinu was too justified and made sure his brother that he would be the priest, he lost the priesthood.

And here one learns a great foundation, what the name says to a person, he must do in innocence.

A person must not try to be wise beyond what Gd tells him. Many times a person says: I will be innocent, I will be righteous, I will be humble and I will try so, but he does harm to himself. Moses began to be humble, humble and innocent: Gd I do not want, let Aaron, he is better than me.

Caused himself to lose the priesthood and his brother took the priesthood.
