The fate of the Ukrainian refugees has prompted Willem-Alexander and Máxima of the Netherlands to take action.
The royal couple provides an entire castle.
Apeldoorn – Refugees from Ukraine are currently seeking refuge across Europe.
They are fleeing the war in their home country, which has been raging for weeks and has the world in suspense.
In order to make it easier for women, men and children without a home to start over, the Dutch royal family is now offering their help, as reported by 24royal.de.
Willem-Alexander and Máxima leave their castle to refugees
King Willem-Alexander (54) and Queen Máxima (50) have apparently taken their royal neighbors from Belgium as an example.
Shortly after it became public that King Philippe (61) and his wife Mathilde (49) were providing apartments for Ukrainian families, the Dutch palace also announced good news.
Het Oude Loo Castle will be transformed into a reception center for refugees from mid-April.

According to the press release, six to eight families from Ukraine or twenty to thirty people will find shelter in Het Oude Loo.
The idyllically situated residence from the 15th century is surrounded by water and is located in Apeldoorn.
It is part of the Het Loo crown estate, which, in addition to the magnificent palace of the same name and the hunting lodge, also includes an extensive park that has given Willem-Alexander many negative headlines in the past.
Het Loo Palace is no longer inhabited and is used as a museum, offering a unique insight into the life of the Dutch royal family.
Several refugee families will be accommodated at Castle Het Oude Loo.

Willem-Alexander and Máxima have settled in The Hague
The royal couple and their three daughters Amalia (18), Alexia (16) and Ariane (14) are rarely seen in Apeldoorn.
For more than three years now, the family of five has called the colorfully furnished Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague their home, which served as a residence for Princess Beatrix (84) until 2014.
