More than 83,000 people registered for the "discounted apartment" lottery as of 1 p.m. (Friday), according to data from the Ministry of Housing and Construction.
The number of registrants is expected to continue to increase and so will the chance of winning.
Among the registrants, only about 10,000 housing units will be raffled off, assuming between NIS 300,000 and NIS 1 million, depending on the locality and the type of plan.
In the current lottery, 150 projects will be raffled off in 31 localities.
Currently, the highest chance of winning the lottery is for those who register for projects in the city of Acre - 1,759 households registered for the lottery of 1,035 apartments - a ratio of 1: 1.7.
In second place is Beit She'an with a ratio of 1: 3.3, and in third place in terms of chances of winning is Trean with a ratio of 1: 3.5.
Also in the cities of Tiberias and Lod - which are in the following places there are good chances of winning - 1: 4.6 and 1: 5 respectively.

Registration for the lottery ends in less than a week, on March 29, and the Ministry of Housing says there are no glitches on the site.
What many do not know is that the lottery "discounted apartment" is also intended for housing improvers, and not just for those who are defined as "homeless".
