Yau Tsim Mong District Commissioner Yu Kin-keung said that ethnic minorities pay less attention to anti-epidemic information and are relatively in short supply in terms of supplies.

The "Home Anti-epidemic Support Program" has contacted different ethnic groups in the district to cooperate. When a confirmed case of ethnic minorities asks for help, a group that knows their language can understand their needs. They will be reminded of the latest epidemic prevention information so that ethnic minorities can receive the most appropriate support.

Liu Aishi, director general of Le Shan Tang, said that the team hopes to "help one to get one" amid the epidemic. Some members have sent supplies to a family of seven at the grass-roots level, and a family of four has been diagnosed with a tenement case, and there are also two families. After the family is diagnosed, the whole family needs to be isolated, and material support is desperately needed. Therefore, Leshantang sent staff to deliver food, rapid test kits, and safety medicine kits for adults and children, hoping to provide timely assistance when the grassroots diagnosed households need it most. .

The "Home-based Anti-epidemic Support Scheme" was launched in Yau Tsim Mong District for three weeks. The company sponsored the supplies, and with the assistance of the Yau Tsim Mong District Office, the network identified those who needed to be diagnosed, and then the staff of Lok Sin Tong contacted the diagnosed minority. Descendants and grassroots families sent supplies from house to house.

The project has so far assisted 203 households with 812 confirmed ethnic minority families and 694 households with 1,735 confirmed subdivided or grassroots families living in Yau Tsim Mong.

The plan will continue until the 31st of this month. Families who are diagnosed with material needs can call 6592 1344 for assistance.
