A 44-year-old former male teaching assistant at a girls' school was involved in re-encountering two female students on the street after resignation and approached them.
The two girls were frightened and took a taxi away, but the assistant tried to board the taxi with the other side, and the incident was reported to the police.
During the police investigation, it was found that the assistant was involved in stealing about 500 electronic photos of students from the school.
The assistant was charged with two counts of loitering and one count of dishonest access to a computer.
The case will be brought up in the West Kowloon Court today (25th), and the prosecution's application is not to be answered for now. Approved by the magistrate.
The defendant's bail application was rejected and he was remanded in custody.
Defendant Meng Shihong (44 years old, private tutor) was charged with two counts of loitering causing others to worry and one count of accessing a computer with criminal or dishonest intent.
The charge alleges that on November 22, 2021 and a certain day in December 2021, he loitered in a public place at the junction of Hok Ling Street and Ma Tau Wai Road, To Kwa Wan, causing X and Y to reasonably fear for their own safety or interests; and in 2018 From October 22 to February 1, 2019, at Ho Man Tin No. 1 Secondary School, Kowloon, taking a computer with criminal or dishonest intent.
