Jumped out of window in fire: critically injured

Eight people were injured in a fire in the stairwell of an apartment building in Berlin-Neukölln.
A person jumped from the first or second floor before the fire brigade arrived and suffered life-threatening injuries, a spokesman for the fire brigade said on Friday evening.
Another person was rescued from the first floor by the emergency services via a turntable ladder.
Berlin – Among the injured are two more seriously injured and five slightly injured.
They are suspected of smoke inhalation.
Further details were initially unclear.
The fire on the ground floor of the house on Karl-Marx-Strasse was already extinguished late in the evening.
Nothing was initially known about the cause of the fire.
