For many, spring time means: get on your bike and put on your hiking boots.

The Hallertau also has many attractive tours to offer, as a new brochure shows.

Hallertau

– Just in time for the start of the season, the Hopfenland Hallertau Tourist Association has published a tour brochure entitled “Cycling.

Hike.

Hallertau.

On the way on the most beautiful tours”.

Whether on foot or by bike: "Anyone who wants to discover the region will find selected and lovingly put together tours through the hop country in this brochure," emphasize the organizers in a press release.

The booklet can be ordered now.

Tours through the Hallertau: Explore the hops region on your own

The cycling and hiking routes lead through the hilly landscape of Hallertau, past hop gardens, river valleys, sights and idyllic locations.

Day trippers should be able to explore the region on their own, experience hops and get to know the culture and Bavarian cosiness of the Holledauer.

The new tour brochure has multi-day and day tours for cyclists, e-bikers and hikers with different levels of difficulty.

But there are also suggestions for family outings: such as small circular bike tours and hikes on adventure trails or themed trails.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

“Bavaria is still very popular as a travel destination within Germany.

We want to be prepared for this and create an attractive offer for day tourists and overnight guests,” explains district administrator Albert Gürtner, chairman of Hopfenland Hallertau Tourismus eV.

Susanne Beyer, project manager of the tourism association, also sees the Hallertau in a good position for the coming season: "With the signposted and varied network of paths, the region offers very good conditions for attractive nature tourism." nearby metropolitan areas "a worthwhile excursion destination".

With stop-off tips and GPX files for download

The brochure contains a total of 17 cycling and ten hiking tours through the Hallertau.

Tour sketches with references to sights and places to stop for refreshments along the route should whet your appetite for more.

A QR code takes you to the website of the tourism association for a detailed tour description.

GPX files for the tours are available for download.
