After an accident on Friday morning on federal highway 42 near Eltville, a driver was trapped in his car and died.
Eltville – On Friday morning (March 25th, 2022) there was a serious head-on collision between a BMW and an oncoming concrete mixer on the B42 near Eltville for reasons that have not yet been clarified.
The BMW driver was trapped in his vehicle as a result of the accident and was injured so badly that he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident, despite help from the rescue services arriving quickly.
The police confirmed this to the German Press Agency.
After the accident, which occurred around 9 a.m., the federal highway 42 had to remain closed for several hours according to the police for rescue and salvage work, as reported by fnp.de *.

The driver of the concrete mixer suffered a shock as a result of the accident and was taken to a hospital as a precaution, according to the police.
As the reporters of the news service Keutz TV report, several bottles of a highly alcoholic beverage were secured at the scene of the accident.
However, the police have not yet confirmed this.
There was also a tragic traffic accident* in Mainz this week, in which a three-year-old girl died.
