The British newspaper "Daily Mail" published documents that partially confirm the validity of the Russian accusations against Hunter Biden, the son of US President Joe Biden, of his involvement in financing biological laboratories in Ukraine.

The commander of the Russian Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Forces, Igor Kirillov, had revealed documents and intelligence information confirming the involvement of US government agencies in the activity of Ukrainian biological laboratories and their financing by institutions close to the current US leadership, especially through the Rosemont Seneca investment fund headed by Hunter Biden.

The British newspaper said that Western intelligence considered the Russian military commander’s revelations a propaganda ploy to justify military intervention in Ukraine, but emails from Hunter’s laptop show that he helped secure millions of dollars in financing for Metabiota, a Defense Ministry contracting company that specializes in searching for Epidemiological diseases that can be used as biological weapons.

The newspaper added that Metabiota presented a suspected corruption Ukrainian gas company named Burisma with a scientific project involving high-level biosecurity laboratories in Ukraine. Although Metabiota is ostensibly a medical data company, its vice president sent an email to Hunter in 2014 describes how they can assert Ukraine's cultural and economic independence from Russia, an unusual goal for a biotech company.

The newspaper indicated that the Metabiota company runs its work in Ukraine for the American defense company "Black & Fitch", which has built laboratories in Ukraine to analyze deadly diseases and biological weapons.

According to the newspaper, which obtained mail exchanges between Biden's son and his associates, the messages discussed how the company's monitoring of medical data could become an essential tool for governments and companies looking to detect outbreaks of infectious diseases.

The newspaper said that the son of President Biden and his colleagues invested $ 500,000 in Metabiota and were able to raise several million dollars to fund the company from investment giants including Goldman Sachs.

The newspaper confirmed that the emails show that Hunter was specifically involved in Metabiota's operations in Ukraine, and according to the messages, Biden's son's offers to investors indicated that they not only raised funding for the company but also helped it obtain new customers.

Emails and defense contract data reviewed by the Daily Mail indicate that Hunter was instrumental in making sure Metabiota was able to conduct its research on pathogens a few hundred miles from the border with Russia and government spending records show that The Department of Defense awarded a contract worth $18.4 million to Metabiota between February 2014 and November 2016 with $307,091 allocated to Ukraine research projects.

The US Defense Threat Reduction Agency also commissioned Black & Fitch to build a Biosafety Level 3 laboratory in Odessa in 2010 that provided improved equipment and training to effectively and safely identify dangerous pathogens.

Black & Fitch won an additional five-year contract worth $85 million in 2012 and uses these laboratories to study infectious agents or toxins that may travel through the air and cause fatal infections, according to the US Department of Health and Human Services.

The Russian Ministry of Defense revealed the formation of a network of about 30 biological laboratories in Ukraine commissioned by the US Department of Defense, indicating that Washington spent more than $200 million on the work of these laboratories.
