Five masked men arrived last night (Saturday) at a gas station in Neve Zohar, near the Dead Sea, and robbed the seller at the convenience store with the threat of a hammer.
The robbers stole the money from the cash registers and many cigarette boxes from the shelves, and a minute later left the place.
Police said that at the end of the chase, a suspect, a 20-year-old resident of the Bedouin diaspora, was arrested with the stolen property in his vehicle.
At the end of Shabbat, he will be brought before the Magistrate's Court in Be'er Sheva.
