The Russian Federal Security Service announced today the dismantling of a terrorist cell of four people who were involved in preparing attacks against members of the law enforcement forces in the Republic of Bashkortostan in southern Russia.
And TASS news agency quoted the authority as saying in a statement: “4 Russian citizens were detained in the city of Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan, involved in preparing to carry out attacks on security elements and promoting terrorist ideology via the Internet,” adding that “during the searches, two hand grenades and incendiary devices were found, in addition to books They carry extremist ideas, radios, clothes and equipment used in field conditions in the possession of the detainees.”
On the 23rd of this month, the Russian security forces thwarted a plot to launch a terrorist attack in the north of the country.
