In order to free the place from rubbish, several committed citizens have joined forces for a collection campaign.
Niederding – Above all, bottles, paper, cigarette butts, packaging, coffee mugs and face masks were the yield of the first garbage collection campaign organized jointly by rural youth and the local committee in Niederding.
Together with members of an Erding garbage collection group, they set about cleaning up Niederding with garbage grabs and sacks on a sunny March-Saturday.
Above all, the outskirts needed a visit from the collectors, as Christian Peis and Sebastian Stemmer from the local committee and Julian Strobl from the rural youth determined.
17 people of all ages took their time and spent two and a half hours clearing up the rubbish that ended up filling an entire trailer.
After that, the hard-working helpers had earned a snack at the Heimerhof.
The organizers are sure that this was not the last collection campaign in town.
By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.
