The Criminal Security Department in Al-Sayeda Zainab area in Damascus countryside arrested the peddlers of counterfeit currency and narcotics.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that, based on the information received by the Criminal Security Department in the Sayeda Zeinab area about the presence of people promoting counterfeit foreign currency, and as a result of continuous follow-up and monitoring, and in a tight ambush, the Criminal Security Department arrested the two suspects and seized in their possession a counterfeit currency. U.S. dollar.
The Ministry confirmed that, in the same context, the Criminal Security Department in Sayeda Zainab arrested two other people who were promoting narcotics.
The ministry indicated that investigations are still ongoing with the arrested persons, and they will be brought before the duly competent judiciary.
