Do you have any leftover lemon at home that you can no longer eat?
Do not throw it away, instead use it to clean the kitchen, for example.
Chantel Mila, the Australian cleaning lady has revealed on Instagram to her 900,000 followers some ingenious ways in which lemon can be used to clean.
Her first tip was to squeeze the remnants of the lemon juice into the dishwasher before turning it on.
She claims that you can even put a chopped lemon in the dishwasher and it will simply remove the scale and leave your dishwasher shiny.
It should be noted that this is not the first time it is recommended to use lemon to put in the dishwasher, but many dishwasher experts and technicians opposed the method when one dishwasher technician wrote: "Never use lemon in your dishwasher! It will ruin the rubber" and explained that rubber destroyed in the dishwasher will cause The dishwasher will leak in the middle of the work and the repair may cost a great deal.
Another technician claimed that if you use lemon with kernels, they will then clog the heating element, which is the fan-like structure at the bottom of the dishwasher and another warned that if you wash glasses in the dishwasher and put lemon in it - it can cause glass turbidity and glass engravings.

In another video she previously shared she also suggested using lemon to remove limescale from the kettle by boiling half a lemon in water and letting it stand for half an hour and explained that it works because the citric acid 'breaks down' all the limescale inside the kettle.
She suggested using lemon also to refresh old cutting boards and get rid of any odors that have accumulated on them.
All she has to do, she says, is sprinkle some sea salt on the board and use a slice of lemon to gently rub it inside.
In addition, lemons can be used to remove any rust from stainless steel knives, by sprinkling baking soda on the knives and then rubbing them with lemon.
"The acidity of the lemon creates a chemical reaction with the rust and it helps it dissolve easily," Shantel explained.
