Even if the sequelae of the new coronavirus have not yet been established, men will be advised not to ignore testicular health, especially as it relates to men's fertility, so it should not be taken lightly.
Men in particular should be concerned about the risk of testicular cancer, which primarily affects young adults.
Statistics show that people with testicular cancer are generally between the ages of 20 and 40, and they are the killer of young people.
Taking Hong Kong as an example, there are about 80 cases on average each year.
Foreign figures show about two cases per 100,000 people.

Long-term exposure to high temperature is a risk factor for developing testicular cancer, so you should avoid wearing tight pants for a long time; or let hot water touch the testicles for a long time.
In addition, young people are in the reproductive period, sperm cells are particularly active, and they are more prone to cell mutation, which is a high-risk group.
The symptoms of testicular cancer are generally not too obvious, but men can regularly feel the testicles with their hands to see if there is any lump.
The earlier the disease is detected, the greater the chance of cure. If it can be treated early, the chance of cure can reach 90%.
Treatment options include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgical resection.
Some people may ask, isn't the removal of testicles the same as sterilization?
Unless bilaterally removed, there is still one side where sperm can be made.
However, relatively speaking, patients who have suffered from unilateral testicular cancer have a higher chance of developing testicular cancer on the other side.
The doctor may suggest that the patient can store some sperm in advance according to the individual patient's situation, and reserve it for use when necessary.
