Two Be'er Sheva residents were charged today (Monday) with a violent robbery of a 92-year-old Holocaust survivor at her home in the city.
According to the indictment, Chai Ben Naim, 35, and Shimon Levy, 56, arrived at the elderly woman's home about three weeks ago and demanded money from her.
After she resisted, she was beaten, left the house after money and jewelry were stolen from him, leaving her sprawled on the floor.
The elderly woman was hospitalized for six days later.
According to the indictment, the two men arrived at the home of the Holocaust survivor in the evening, where she lives alone, wearing masks and gloves, and demanded money from her.
When she started screaming, they covered her mouth and told her "if you don't shut up we will kill you".
They then forced her hands and feet, beat her, threw her on the floor, dragged her and kept asking again "Where is the money?".
