The chairman of Jewish Power, MK Itamar Ben Gvir, announced tonight (Monday) that he plans to ascend the Temple Mount this coming Sunday.
This, against the background of the tense security situation following the terrorist attacks in Be'er Sheva and Hadera and towards the month of Ramadan.
Ben Gvir said: "Every evening on Rosh Chodesh I usually go up to the Temple Mount and I will do so this coming Thursday. I hope that the failed commissioner (Kobi Shabtai; AS) and the left-wing minister Bar-Lev have no intention of breaking the status quo on the Temple Mount .
"Any attempt to prevent a Jewish MK from ascending the Temple Mount will send a message of surrender to terrorism and ignite the fire."

Sources in the police responded to the message and told "Israel Today": "Ben Gvir is just shouting that no one planned not to allow him."
