The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the violations and crimes of the Israeli occupation forces and settlers against the Palestinian people, their land and holy sites amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity for which international law is held accountable.

In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the occupation continues to Judaize the occupied city of Jerusalem, change its historical, legal and demographic reality, and perpetuate its annexation and separation completely from its Palestinian surroundings, the latest of which was the settlers storming yesterday the Bab Al-Khalil area in the city and seizing the Petra Hotel under the protection of the occupation forces, in addition to the continuous incursions Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and other Jerusalemite neighborhoods, the escalation of incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the demolition of Palestinian homes to displace them from the city.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the occupation continues ethnic cleansing and abolition of the Palestinian presence in all areas of the West Bank despite international and UN reports calling for an end to its crimes and racist practices, the latest of which is the report of the United Nations Special Rapporteur and the reports of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, which calls for serious international action to compel him to stop them.
