Now the preparation for the Oberammergau Passion is happening in quick succession.

Director Christian Stückl and Co. are currently rehearsing key scenes such as the crucifixion.

Oberammergau

- It's almost as if nothing had happened.

Game director Christian Stückl is in his element again.

Nothing is left of his heart attack a few weeks ago, except that he still keeps his hands off the harmful fags.

But with regard to the premiere of the Oberammergau Passion Play on May 14, hurry is required.

The Stations of the Cross and Crucifixion were on the rehearsal schedule on Saturday evening.

Not everything went smoothly for Jesus actor Frederik Mayet (kneeling) and his teammates.

"A crucifixion without a hammer isn't a crucifixion, how can you nail without a hammer," exclaimed the meticulous director when an important prop was missing on stage.
