A pilot was killed in a military plane crash during a training mission in northern Algeria.
And Algerian media quoted the Algerian Ministry of Defense as saying in a statement today, “A MiG-29 fighter plane crashed due to a technical defect immediately after taking off from the Bousfer air base in the second military district, which led to the death of a pilot from his wounds,” noting that the Algerian Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Al-Saeed Shangriha ordered the opening of an immediate investigation to find out the causes and circumstances of the accident.
