The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that no ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces in the Karabakh region during the past 24 hours.
The Russia Today website quoted the ministry as saying in a statement, “No violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping unit,” noting that continuous interaction with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia will be maintained in order to ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible accidents. .
The Russian Defense Ministry announced yesterday that the Azerbaijani army has withdrawn its units from the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping unit near the town of Vorokh in the Karabakh region.
On the other hand, the head of the National Center of the Russian Defense Administration, General Mikhail Mizintsev, warned of the drifting of naval mines planted by Ukrainian forces in the Black Sea, which threatens navigation along the coasts of the riparian countries.
Mezintsev said, "60 foreign ships are stuck in Ukrainian ports due to the danger of mines," noting that the Turkish authorities found two of these mines in the Bosphorus Strait and in the Black Sea waters near the border with Bulgaria, and they were disabled without causing any damage to any of the ships passing through. across the strait.
