A suspect was arrested on Monday, five days after the attack on a security guard at the Quatre Temps shopping center in La Défense (Hauts-de-Seine), according to our information, confirming that of Valeurs Actuelles.

The suspicious individual was arrested near Sarcelles station (Val-d'Oise) around 5 p.m. by plainclothes police.

It was a little after 9 p.m. on Monday when the security guard walked into the Quatre Temps shopping center towards his attacker, a man with a rather athletic build, dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt. gray with a sports bag slung over his shoulder that was near the Apple Store, between the Jules store and the Yogurt Factory, an area where, given the time, he shouldn't have been.
Circumstances that remain to be clarified
The guard only had time to say a few words before the man in the sweatshirt unleashed one then two punches in the face, and grabbed him by the shoulders.
The officer then fell to the ground, his assailant sitting astride him.
On the ground, without the possibility of defending himself, he then again received six violent punches in the face before being abandoned by his executioner, almost inanimate.
He was seriously injured.
According to our information, the attacker had been taken out of the shopping center by several security guards.
He would have returned a few minutes later to "fall on the first comer" according to a faithful of the place.
The victim, a former Thai boxing champion known and appreciated by many regulars at the mall where he has worked since the early 1990s, did not have time to make the slightest gesture.
