The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) announced that it has won 12 awards at this year's Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, including two gold awards and ten silver awards. The "High Efficiency" project won the Gold Award, which not only lowers the threshold for SMEs to apply 5G, but also promotes the development of smart cities.

The ASTRI team's project "Using 5G Technology to Make Future Cities and Parks Smarter and More Efficient" won the Gold Award at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. It is Hong Kong's first 5G end-to-end network full-architecture solution with flexible design, easy deployment and relatively low cost. The silver award includes IoT and blockchain technology, as well as health innovation technology for the elderly, as well as smart travel technology.
