The sun has come out, which means that this period of the year has begun when all the major ice cream brands are trying, and quite a few times also succeeding, to reinvent the wheel with both strange and varied flavors.
This time, in the Passover atmosphere, it is the Ben & Jerrys company that in recent months, unfortunately and unfortunately, is in the headlines in the news sections, with a gimmick that turned out to be especially delicious - matzah-flavored ice cream with chocolate.
The addicts and veterans among you probably remember that in 2008 the company launched a similar product, but this is a new edition with a completely different recipe and flavors.
The ice cream, called "Matzah Crunch", is not too sexy but definitely one that will make you interested, consists of a vanilla base with pieces of matzah coated in chocolate.
And yes, this is the stage in the article where some readers make an enthusiastic face and some another face completely flinched.
We tasted, because someone has to do this work, and are happy to inform you that this is a delicious product, especially for lovers of vanilla ice cream (or vanilla with chocolate crackles, the concept is similar).
The ice cream is very tasty, light and is a nice twist for those who are desperate for sweets during the holidays.
The pieces of matzah are felt in the ice cream and are quite coarse, but the ice cream retains its lightness nonetheless, and somehow, although on paper it is not necessarily tempting - all the ingredients blend well.

Too bad she will not be there.
The ice cream will only be offered in the Ben & Jerry's factory stores, and there are two of these - in Yavne and Beer Tuvia, where they will be sold for NIS 26 for a package of 500 ml or NIS 15 per serving.
Avi Singer, CEO of Ben & Jerry's Israel, told us: "In light of the fact that on Passover the variety of ice creams that the company markets has been reduced, we always challenge the company's team to initiate new ice creams that suit the holiday spirit." Passover and, of course, exclusively for Ben & Jerry's Israel. "
