Iraqi forces killed a number of ISIS terrorists in Kirkuk Governorate, in the north of the country.
And the Iraqi Security Media Cell stated in a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency, "The Iraqi air force targeted, with an air strike, the hideouts of ISIS terrorist gangs in Wadi Shai in Kirkuk, which resulted in their complete destruction and the transformation of those in it to pieces."
The Iraqi forces had announced earlier today the launch of a large-scale security operation to pursue the remnants of the terrorist organization (ISIS) in the governorates of Nineveh, Salah al-Din and Anbar.
