With the blessing of President Yitzhak Herzog and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Gideon Saar, "Israel Today" will hold a multi-participant conference in the nation's buildings that will deal with Israel's socio-economic resilience, under the name "Economic-Socio-Employment Resilience Conference".
The conference will deal with the question of how the economic-socio-employment resilience in Israel can be improved on a national and personal level.
This, as part of the need to lead a national recovery from the corona crisis, similar to the process that many countries in the world are going through.
The focus will be not only on macroeconomics but also on microeconomics, i.e .: the conference will address this question not only at the national level but also at the household level.
The conference will be opened with a congratulatory speech by Israel Today, Dr. Miriam Adelson; and the editor-in-chief, Amar Lachmanovich. With the Mayor of Jerusalem, Mr. Moshe Leon.
The conference will examine how the State of Israel copes with the burning challenges and steps to be taken to produce long-term economic resilience, how to maintain the business and economic resilience of Israeli households, how to deal with the cost of living, how the housing crisis affects our personal and national resilience, and how to improve resilience. Employment in the Israeli economy while integrating various communities (ultra-Orthodox, Arabs and women) in the employment market.
The conference will feature four key sessions.
The economic resilience session will deal with ways to strengthen households in the country after the crisis and to review the state of the economy today.
This session will begin with a conversation between the Minister of Immigration and Absorption, Pnina Tamano-Shta, and Yifat Ehrlich.
A second session will deal with the cost of living in the country and ways to deal with the situation.
This session will host the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Minister of Development of the Periphery, Negev and Galilee, Oded Forer.
The third session will deal with the resilience of the public, and this session will be hosted by Minister of Welfare Meir Cohen.
You will also be hosted by the Minister of Social Equality, Meirav Cohen.
The "Business in a Storm of Crisis" panel will discuss the resilience of business owners, how they dealt with the corona crisis in real time, when they began preparing for the crisis and how the long corona crisis affected sales and their relationships with employees, suppliers and customers.
To summarize the session, business people will present the insights they learned from the crisis.
The fourth session will deal with building social resilience in Israel, including integrating Arab society into the social fabric of life in the country.
This session will host the Minister of Construction and Housing and the Minister of Jerusalem and Heritage Affairs, Zeev Elkin.
The session will also deal with the housing crisis in Israel and other points that give resilience to our society.
The conference will be attended by senior public and government officials, including ministers and MKs, academics, leading businessmen and various civic actors.
The conference will be held in front of a live audience and will be broadcast and reviewed live on the website and application of "Israel Today".
Among the conference participants: the Minister of Housing, the Minister of Agriculture, the Minister of Welfare, the Minister of Social Equality, MK Moshe Gafni, the chairman of the Finance Committee, the Supervisor of Banks and more.
