Together with the Hamburg Miniature Wonderland, Europapark Rust has developed a new virtual reality attraction.
In it, visitors are shrunk to a tiny fraction of their body size.
Rust - In the 2022 season, some innovations await visitors at Europapark.
In addition to the "Josefina's Imperial Magic Journey" boat tour, an event restaurant, new suites in Hotel Krønasår and an interactive ride in the "Rulantica" water world, the park is also opening another attraction: visitors can have fun in the "Yullbe" virtual reality park April 1st in a VR simulation to a tiny fraction of their height, as reported by BW24*.
In the new Yullbe adventure, the small-shrunken visitors in groups overcome unexpected tasks that they encounter on their 30-minute tour through an animated miniature landscape.
What begins as an idyllic panoramic trip on a model railway quickly develops into a turbulent adventure through the world on a small scale.
The surroundings correspond optically to the miniature wonderland of Hamburg.
No coincidence, because the Hamburgers were involved in the development.
Europapark: Video for the new attraction "Miniature Wonderland - the crazy shrinking tour" inspires fans
In a video on Facebook, Europapark gives a first glimpse of the “crazy shrink tour”:
Park fans are obviously looking forward to the new attraction.
More than 600 people gave the Europapark video a thumbs up (as of March 29, 1 p.m.), many tagged their friends.
"Super - miniature wonderland is mega," writes a Facebook user.
"Brilliant," says another.
Price for the miniature adventure bothers Europapark fan: "I'd rather go to Hamburg"
While some are happy about the new attraction, the price of the adventure is a source of irritation to many others.
“29 euros for 30 minutes?
Plus the park entrance fee?
But I'd rather go to Hamburg and see the miniature wonderland for real!" commented one user on the post.
"Miniature Wonderland - The Crazy Shrinkage Tour"
The new Yullbe adventure is aimed at explorers from the age of twelve and 140 centimeters tall.
The 30-minute VR experience is suitable for the whole family and is non-violent.
Yullbe Adventure Center is located outside of Europapark, right next to Rulantica Water World and Hotel Krønasår.
The ticket costs 29 euros per person.
With the new project, Europapark boss Michael Mack wants to “remove the limits of the laws of nature”, as he already explained in 2021.
The cooperation with the miniature wonderland Hamburg should be promising: In 2021 it was voted the most popular sight in Germany in a survey by the
German National Tourist Board (DZT)
- the Europapark came in second team up
The mini wonderland is located in Hamburg's warehouse district and offers numerous themed worlds on an area of 1,499 square meters.
