Seefeld - climate protection you can touch offers the renovation tour in Seefeld on Friday, April 1, from 4 p.m.

The round tour is aimed at homeowners who want to renovate and answers questions on topics such as solar use, heating replacement, roof insulation or window replacement.

Interested parties will be informed in good time about the meeting point and the details of the tour.

Registration is therefore required at klimaschutz@lk-starnberg.de or by telephone on 08151 148-77352.

Don't put off restructuring on the long bench

"Don't do things by halves when it comes to replacing the heating system and improving energy efficiency," appeals the chairman of the Seefeld local energy transition group, Ernst Deiringer, to homeowners.

The current crisis situation is a drastic demonstration of the fact that the renovation was too carelessly put off and that the country became fatally dependent on gas and oil imports from Russia.

Now not only are energy prices rising, but renovation companies and heating engineers are also unable to keep up with the many inquiries, not to mention cost increases and a shortage of materials.

First inform, then convert

If you were only to rely on mediocre standards for the measures during a renovation, it will be all the more complex and expensive for subsequent improvements.

"Profound information and education for homeowners is more important to us than ever," emphasizes Josefine Anders from the climate protection department of the district office, which organizes the renovation tour together with the Energy Transition Association and the Herrsching Adult Education Center.

The tour offers a very good opportunity to see different solutions in practice, to learn from the experiences of others and to discuss future options.

series of events in the spring
