Prince Philip Commemoration: Queen Elizabeth, Camilla and Anne show strength in pine green

At the commemoration of the late Prince Philip, all eyes were on the royal ladies.

The choice of an outfit color in particular attracted attention.

Numerous representatives of the European aristocracy traveled specially to commemorate the late prince consort of Queen Elizabeth II (95) in Westminster Abbey.

A service was held in his honor there, commemorating how faithfully he served his country and his queen.

In addition, his social commitment was recognized, but he was also talked about as a person and as a family man.

This is nothing unusual, but following the camera's gaze, it quickly became apparent that all three women were wearing fir green suits, while many other guests at the memorial ceremony were wearing black or blue*.

Although pine green is perfectly appropriate as a color for a memorial service, the sight made one ponder.

Did her choice of outfit color have a deeper meaning?

After all, the royals always plan very conscientiously for their appearances, which colors they choose for their looks and which symbolism should be conveyed.

But why do Princess Anne and Duchess Camilla also wear fir green?
