The Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of armored vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian forces using guided missiles fired by Russian combat helicopters.
The TASS news agency quoted the ministry as saying: “Helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Mi-28N and Mi-28UB, destroyed armored vehicles of the Ukrainian army with guided missiles,” adding: “The air raid was carried out in double groups from a distance. It reaches five kilometers and the results of the damage to the targets were recorded through the means of designated control,” where pictures of the process of destroying the armored vehicles were posted on the ministry’s website.
Russian military aviation carries out the tasks of guarding convoys, destroying enemy armor, transporting offensive forces and military goods, as well as providing air support to units performing tasks in the framework of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.
