So what does the next generation update include and how do you update?
For starters players will be able to enjoy 4K game resolution, HDR support and gameplay running at 60 frames per second.
The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles also feature higher resolutions for shadows on the map and improved Draw Distance.
The game's website stated that this is not the end and in the future an update is planned that will support 120 frames per second gameplay with further improvements to the game's graphics and audio.
A future update is also planned that will allow PlayStation 5 players to also enjoy the Haptic Feedback and Addaptive Triggers capabilities of the DualSense remote.

The Warriors Collection
The new event will restore the gameplay control mode introduced in previous seasons of Apex Legends for two weeks and will set the players in nine-player arenas against nine others, showing changes and balances to different areas on the map.
The event also features a new map to Arena mode, which pits three players against three other players.
As always the new event brings with it as always new items and skins, and this time players will be able to purchase cosmetic accessories for a limited time.
