Dr. Al-Jaafari toured the exhibition’s sections and listened to a presentation by the organizers of its contents, which embody the stages of development of the United Arab Emirates, and which provide a comprehensive idea of the Emirati culture through a variety of content, including heritage and folklore performances that embody the authentic Emirati environment and the inspiring personalities that contributed to shaping the features of the story. Dr. Al-Jaafari congratulated the UAE for its success in organizing the Expo 2020 Dubai, which is considered one of the most important international economic events.
Dr. Al-Jaafari also visited the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and praised the efforts and activities made by its organizers throughout its stay, noting the cultural events organized by the pavilion on the sidelines of the exhibition, which contributed to introducing the ancient Syrian civilization and culture dating back thousands of years, as well as the economic and scientific activities that contributed to introducing The investment environment in Syria and the most important legislations and laws recently issued to encourage the attraction of foreign investments.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants was accompanied on his tour by the Head of the Diplomatic Mission in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, and the Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Kinan Zahreddine.
It is noteworthy that the Expo 2020 Dubai will close by the end of this month, as it lasted for six months and included 192 pavilions representing most countries of the world, in addition to other special pavilions.
