The market Sunday open for sale in spring was canceled weeks ago by the trade association due to Corona.

But there should be a small compensation for this, as was the case last autumn.

Germering – The association has set up a “Long Saturday”.

The shops will remain open until 6 p.m. on April 2 under the motto “Stroll, discover, stroll, rummage”.

The response to the offer from the retailers was very high, reports Katrin Schmidt.

She heads the trade association together with Jürgen Andre.

The response to the “Long Saturday” last fall was already good.

But this time even more shops took part, says Katrin Schmidt: “Some are open longer than 6 p.m.

However, we made a conscious decision to keep the core opening hours until 6 p.m. in order to give as many as possible the opportunity to be there.”

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular FFB newsletter.)

The participating shops have come up with a number of ideas for the day.

Among other things, there are generous discount campaigns and samples.

The Vinothek Berry is extending the "Long Saturday" and also invites you to "Wine Days" with tastings on Sunday, April 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wheels of Fortune are set up in the "Think Pink Beauty Oasis" and at the Bookmarks bookshop.

The Germeringer author duo DraDra and Trici are also signing their new novel "Flugelschwingen" in the bookmark.

The trade association has also put the “Long Saturday” under the motto “Time for Germering”.

According to Katrin Schmidt, the Stadtmuseum Zeit+Raum was won over as a cooperation partner.

The museum on Domonter Straße is open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

City archivist Marcus Guckenbiehl invites you to guided tours at 3 p.m., 3.30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the subject of “Little Stachus”. Free entry tickets are now available from the bookstore Bookmarks.

The children were also thought of.

The play mobile of the adventure playground is in front of the city library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and invites you to do handicrafts, play and run around.
