Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin revealed today a new package that includes 20 initiatives to support the Russian economy, after the West imposed sanctions on Moscow in light of its special military operation in Ukraine.
"Let's discuss the fourth package of proposals to improve the stability of our economy, which contains 20 ideas covering several areas from supporting small and medium-sized companies to large industrial enterprises," TASS news agency quoted Mishustin as saying at the beginning of a meeting of the Russian government's committee on stabilizing the economy in light of Western sanctions.
Mishustin stressed that preparing regulations "measures to support the economy" is only half the battle and it is important that all proposals are implemented quickly and efficiently.
On the main tasks of the Russian government at the present time, Mishustin referred to providing the Russian market with necessary products so that Russian citizens can maintain the maximum possible access to basic goods under the current conditions.
