Syrian youth presented their pure vision of the world around them and their fertile artistic talents with their brushes and colors in the painting and sculpture exhibition hosted by Zawaya Gallery in Damascus under the title “Syrian Sun”.

The exhibition, which was held on the occasion of the Syrian March and New Year holidays, Akito, included works by young people, Ninar Zahwa and Pedro Naddaf, with the participation of Sham Zeidan, and witnessed Qusaibati and Nizar Nasra, and carried a real desire from the organizers of the exhibition to nurture the talents of young people, encourage them and enhance their artistic talents.

14-year-old Pedro Naddaf showed 11 paintings he drew with his imagination for symbols of life, nature and ancient civilizations. on the wooden piece.

As for the woman, the interest of the young girl Ninar Zahwa was among her 17 paintings that she completed over a period of about two years with pencils and charcoal, relying on the shadow and shading technique to show that the strength of women goes beyond the limits of form. .

The 14-year-old artist, Shahd Zidan, was influenced by the international artist Baybars, who depicted nature at various times on canvases in acrylic colors and was distinguished by her ability to communicate her ideas within the limits of a small painting.

The exhibition was a heavenly space for young talents to see the light, so the exhibition witnessed the visit of the child Jad Saba, accompanied by his mother, the interior designer, Yara Al-Omari, where she spoke to Sana about her son’s joy in suspending his first attempts at drawing within the exhibition, which she considered a great motivator for children in directing them to art and creativity in a time dominated by technology. and social media.

Engineer Khaled Qusaibati, the exhibition’s supervisor, stated that the main objective of holding the exhibition was to encourage children to highlight their artistic talents, display and celebrate their works to enhance imagination, develop creativity, refine talents and develop skills, to be the nucleus of a new generation of artists, looking forward to more of their artistic expressions in the near future.

Ramez Al-Badin, Director of Al-Qasaa Directorate in the Syrian National Party, spoke about the directorate’s contribution to the exhibition, which came as part of its endeavors to promote imagination and develop creativity among young people to embrace the largest number of young people’s talents, refine their skills, and give them an opportunity to highlight their talents and act as a moral impulse for them to express their opinion, even if it is part of an artistic painting. .

From attending the exhibition, Maryam Al-Maarri, who is interested in artwork, was fascinated by the paintings and their contents, in which the talents of children with their spontaneous feathers were evident, hoping that parents would direct their children to painting because of the sublime meanings and ability to develop their ideas.
