Government figures from last year showed that there were more than 3,700 start-ups in Hong Kong.

As the flagship of digital technology in Hong Kong, there are currently about 800 companies in the Cyberport Park. In addition to the start-ups of the incubation program, there are also many other start-ups who rent Smart-Space, a number of shared workspaces in the park, at affordable prices.

Cyberport understands the expansion needs of start-ups and seeks to further promote the community of smart living start-ups. Last year, Cyberport added Smart-Space Smart Living (SSSL), a smart living and shared workplace designed for start-ups with related solutions.

There are start-ups who continue to develop in the park after completing the incubation plan, and there are also entrepreneurs who have returned from local and overseas to show their strengths here.

WildFaces is a start-up that applies artificial intelligence technology to develop mobile face recognition and tracking solutions to assist automation processes in various industries.

The company joined the Cyberport Incubation Program in 2018, and chose to stay in the Cyberport Park after graduation, renting a 6-person office in Cyberport Smart-Space.

As the business expanded and the team had grown to over 10 people, the company decided to move to a new larger SSSL office.
