The nude drawing group of the Berg culture association meets on Oberlandstrasse in Aufhausen every Monday.

The artists capture the beauty of the human body in a purist space.

Her works can be seen in the Marstall from Friday.

Aufhausen – Model Tanja Wilking is sitting in the drawing room in Berg without any clothes on.

All around her, the members of the nude drawing group of the Berg cultural association are busily painting and drawing in sketchbooks and on canvas.

Numerous nude drawings have been created in this way in recent years.

Next weekend, 2./3.

April, the group presents their artworks in the Marstall am See in Berg (Mühlgasse 7).

Tanja Wilking gives an interview during the exhibition.

"We draw with pencils, but sometimes also with paints or crayons," says group organizer Ernst Grünwald.

“I also modeled for a while.

And from time to time we also exhibit our works.” Exactly next weekend.

Framed drawings will hang on the walls, a clothesline for sketches is planned across the room, sculptures and sketchbooks are on display.

Each of the 17 participating artists gets 1.20 meters of exhibition space.

In addition, works in postcard format are sold, the proceeds of which are donated to Ukraine.

"We want to present the working character at the exhibition," says Grünwald.

He has been drawing for many years, studied sculpture at the Academy in Munich and joined a nude drawing group for the first time in 1992.

"Our group met in a studio in Dorfen at the time," he says.

"But when this was no longer available and we were becoming fewer and fewer, we joined forces with the Berger Group."

There are currently around 18 members, mainly graphic designers and architects, who meet regularly, says the artist.

A model sits in the middle – men and women of all ages.

The model can choose the position itself, and a warm temperature in the room is ensured.

"The model has to feel comfortable," says Grünwald.

“It also has to stay still for drawing.

But we have a nice atmosphere for our models.”

Grünwald organizes the models himself.

There are always people who just want to try it out.

Others have been in the business as nude models for a very long time and still others come to the group of characters through word of mouth.

"We're concerned with human contact and capturing the model," says Grünwald.

"Each of us paints the same person, but the result is completely different drawings." And there is something else that he enjoys about his hobby: "You learn and deal with anatomy, but everyone still looks different."

One such model is Tanja Wilking.

She has been a model for Berger for years.

On Saturday she will be in the Marstall at 3 p.m. and tell the visitors what it is like from her point of view to be drawn without clothes.

"We are a loose group with many hobby artists," says Grünwald.

"That's why we look forward to seeing each other's works."

exhibition opening

The opening of the exhibition is on Friday evening at 7 p.m. in the Berger Marstall.

The show can be seen on Saturday, April 2, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, April 3, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
