Like so many holiday destinations, Turkey is also relaxing its corona rules.
When entering the country, the 3G proof should be omitted - but only by land or sea.
In the last few weeks, there have been a lot of loosening of the Corona rules.
Some states have even completely lifted their measures, such as Denmark or other Scandinavian countries*.
As a popular holiday destination, Turkey has now lifted a few conditions, albeit not to the same extent.
Holidays in Turkey are now partially possible without 3G proof
The 3G proof, which was previously mandatory upon entry, no longer has to be presented if holidaymakers enter the country by land or sea, as reported by the
FVW
industry portal .
Air travelers
- and this will affect the majority of German vacationers - must
still present the vaccination, convalescence or test certificate
.
The evidence must meet these requirements:
Proof of vaccination
: Complete vaccination with two doses of vaccine or a single dose of Johnson&Johnson vaccine, at least 14 days before arrival
Proof
of recovery: full recovery no less than 28 days and no more than six months ago
Test evidence
: negative PCR test no more than 72 hours old or negative rapid antigen test no more than 48 hours old
Corona: Turkey relaxes further measures
The entry form for Turkey, which was mandatory for a long time, was abolished in mid-March.
This applies to
all travelers, regardless of whether they arrive by air, sea or land
.
In addition, Turkey has relaxed further corona measures in the country: the
mask requirement is
no longer applicable outdoors and in some indoor public spaces.
However, it still applies indoors if the minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be maintained and if ventilation is not sufficient.
To be on the safe side, holidaymakers should always have a mask with them when visiting a restaurant.
The mask must also be worn on public transport and on the plane.
