The Department of the Wounded of the Syrian Arab Army and the Wounded Club in Tartous held a ceremony in honor of 60 wounded people from the Sheikh Badr area.

The two wounded, Rami Muhammad and Bashar al-Qulaih, expressed their happiness to be with the wounded comrades-in-arms, the heroes of victory. The stances of heroism and determination in honor battles in defense of the homeland and the high morale of the wounded and their families to be a motivator for them to challenge difficulties with greater determination.

The head of the wounded department in the governorate, Rabie Ibrahim, pointed out, in a statement to reporters, that the ceremony was held in the Qasr Al-Inshirah restaurant on the Tartous-Safita highway, and included 60 heroic wounded people from the Sheikh Badr area who have a disability rate of more than 65 percent, indicating that it is the first steps of the Department of the Wounded for this year, according to Its annual program dedicated to providing moral support to the wounded through various activities and recreational trips with the participation of the local community.

In turn, Sami Melhem, head of the Wounded Club, explained that the main objective of establishing the club is to raise the spirits of the wounded through various recreational activities, to be by each other's side and for us to be on their side as one family.
