Police arrested a 25-year-old man from Tel Sheva yesterday (Wednesday) at the end of a chase, after he fled wildly with his car while hitting several vehicles.
After he abandoned his vehicle and tried to escape on foot, the police arrested him.
He will be brought in today for a remand extension on suspicion of dangerous driving, without a license and under the influence of drugs.
It all started when the driver aroused the suspicion of the police on his trip, and asked to stop him for a check near Be'er Sheva.
At this point the driver began a wild ride, hitting four vehicles while zigzagging lanes, and after causing another accident, abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot into a field.
When the driver was apprehended by the police officers who followed him on the motorcycle, they discovered that changes had been made to the details of the vehicle plate and that ammunition pods had been seized inside.
They also discovered that he was driving without a driver's license.
He is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs.
