A large-scale operation is currently underway in the municipality of Neufahrn: there is a fire in an apartment building.
The police gave clues as to the cause of the fire.
Update Thursday 5:04 p.m .: Fire in Neufahrn: newspapers lit
According to initial findings, the amount of damage is around 20,000 euros.
As far as the cause of the fire is concerned, the police headquarters assumes that it was deliberate arson because newspapers appeared to have been set on fire in the basement of the house.
The Kripo Erding has taken over the investigation.

– Large-scale operation in the municipality of Neufahrn: A fire broke out in an apartment building on Echinger Straße on Thursday morning.
The fire brigade has been on site since around 10:15 a.m. to fight the fire, reports the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North.
The building was evacuated.
Several residents had to be rescued from the building using a turntable ladder.
It is not yet known whether people were injured or what caused the fire.
The Erding criminal police have started processing the case on site.
