Peiting – It has been decided that the fees for a place in a day-care center will be increased by September 1, 2022.
They increase by 2.5 percent.
This corresponds to the wage increase if you add up those from 2020 and 2021.
The last time the fees were raised was in autumn 2020.
427 boys and girls are currently attending a kindergarten in the market town of Peiting.
80 are in a manger.
30 parents receive a subsidy from the youth welfare office, although the Free State of Bavaria grants a monthly subsidy of 100 euros for children over the age of three.
The state also provides support for boys and girls under the age of three, but this is based on income limits.
However, the market administration does not know how many parents have applied for this subsidy.
At the end of February, the parents' councils of all facilities in Peiting were informed about the 2.5 percent increase in contributions.
There were no objections to this, it said at the last meeting of the market town council.
Not only were the parents' councils from the municipal kindergartens and crèches written to, but also the parents' representatives of other organizations (e.g. Caritas or Kinderhilfe Oberland).
As in other cities and communities, the fees are staggered according to the booking time.
An example: With five to six hours a day, it is 120 euros in kindergarten from September.
That's three more than before.
The sibling discount applies to a second child;
then you only have to pay half.
For a place in a crèche group, 240 euros have to be paid from September (with a booking time of five to six hours).
A “regular adjustment” is better than waiting a long time with a hefty increase.
Municipal councilor Norbert Merk held this view.
He is the speaker for schools and day-care centers on the committee.
