The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 1,006,445 deaths out of 8,174,722 infections, followed by India with 521,159 deaths out of 4,302,440 infections, and Brazil third, with 659,570 deaths out of 29916,334 infections.
