"We share your sincere grief and heartfelt condolences to our people," wrote Umm al-Fahm Mayor Samir Subhi wrote on Facebook to the families of the terrorists.
"May God have mercy on them."
Shaked said in response that "it is inconceivable that a municipality in the State of Israel would comfort families of terrorists."

Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked today (Thursday) ordered the mayor of Umm al-Fahm to remove a Facebook post in which he comforted the families of the terrorists who carried out the attack in Hadera.
"Comfort is a must," wrote Mayor Samir Subhi.
"On my behalf and on behalf of the members and staff of Umm al-Fahm Municipality and the people of the city, we share your sincere sorrow and heartfelt condolences to our people in the Bashir family and to the whole family, on the eighth date of the deceased Ayman Ahmad in the Agbaria song and Ibrahim Hassan "And will arouse patience and comfort in their families. We belong to Allah and to whom we will return."
In response, Shaked said that "it is inconceivable that a municipality in the State of Israel would comfort families of terrorists. This is a serious and shameful post and it is good that it has been deleted. The interior minister will continue to show zero tolerance for supporting terrorism on social networks and in general."

Following this, the mayor removed himself from responsibility for publishing the post.
"A mistake by the public relations office and the spokesperson for the municipality," he said.
"We thought it was right to issue a condolence statement like all the people who died in Umm al-Fahm, but the mayor of Yashar issued an order to delete it."
Two people were killed and five others were injured in a shooting attack on Sunday by two terrorists on Herbert Samuel Street in Hadera.
An undercover force that was at the scene neutralized the terrorists, residents of Umm al-Fahm, at the end of a shootout.
