Toulouse Airport: 17 new destinations to fly to from April 1

After two years of health crisis, Toulouse-Blagnac airport, the 6th airport platform in France, is once again running at full speed, offering new destinations and reopening lines.


The large airport in the south-west is taking on new colors.

From April 1, 2022, Toulouse-Blagnac reopens to travellers, after two years of closure;

its hall A and plans to accommodate up to 200 flights per week there for the spring-summer season.

The seat offer has increased by 78% compared to 2021. In total,

79 destinations

will be accessible from the country's 6th airport, with many new destinations, new connections, or reopening of lines closed during the health crisis.

From Cyprus to Croatia via Morocco and even Montreal in Canada, here are the details of these new direct flights which, without a connection via the Parisian platforms, save time and money.

New destinations from Toulouse

  • Cyprus-Larnaca

     : with the Cypriot company TUS Airways.

    It will serve the southern Cypriot port city once a week.


  • Tel-Aviv

     : with the Cypriot company TUS Airways.

    Second destination opened by the Mediterranean carrier based in Larnaca with a weekly rotation between Toulouse and Tel Aviv, the festive Israeli metropolis.

New connections

  • Algiers and Oran

     : with Air France.

    A new flight per week to the Algerian capital as well as one to the port city in northwestern Algeria.

    According to Toulouse-Blagnac airport, the flights are however still awaiting government agreement on the reopening of the Algerian sky.


  • Bergamo,

    Rome

    ,

    Venice

    : with Ryanair.

    To Italy, the ultra low-cost Irish company is launching two new connections at the rate of 2 flights per week.

    Rotations will be on Thursdays and Saturdays for Bergamo, Wednesdays and Saturdays for Rome.

    A third route to Venice is announced, with 3 rotations per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.


  • Agadir

     : with Ryanair.

    Another new route to Morocco opened by the Irish company.

    3 flights per week are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.


  • Madrid:

    with Volotea.

    The Spanish capital will be served twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) by the Spanish low-cost specialist in connections between European regional capitals.


  • Faro:

    with Volotea.

    2 flights per week on Thursdays and Sundays.


  • Ibiza:

    with Iberia Air Nostrum.

    New connection twice a week to the Balearic Island, Monday and Friday or Thursday and Sunday depending on the period.


  • Marseilles

    :

    with TwinJet.

    5 flights per week, Monday to Friday, to reach Marseille.

Reopenings of routes

While global air transport is gradually picking up, the summer of 2022 is also an opportunity for carriers serving Toulouse to reopen lines set aside since the start of the health crisis.

  • Montreal:

    with Air Transat.

    The Quebec company is resuming an “almost normal” program this spring between Montreal and the major French cities.

    From the spring, it will provide up to 4 flights per week between Toulouse and Canada.

  • Valencia

    : with Ryanair.

    3 flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.


  • Tangier

    : with Ryanair.

    2 flights per week on Thursdays and Sundays.

    A daily flight.


  • Bristol

     : with easyJet.

    A daily flight.


  • Algiers and Oran

    : with Air Algérie.

    The Algerian national company is preparing to resume its daily flights to Algiers and Oran.

    As with the Air France flights already mentioned, this reopening still depends on the agreement of the Algerian government.
