The General Administration of the Syrian Establishment for Bakeries has transferred the “Eighth of March” automated bakery in Sweida from the management system to the supervision system with the aim of improving its reality and solving the problem of workers shortage in bakeries operating under the management system.
The director of the Foundation’s branch in As-Suwayda, Alaa Muhanna, told SANA reporter that according to this decision, the workers of the 8th of March bakery were distributed among the Shahba and As-Suwayda first bakeries working in the management system to solve the problem of labor shortages in them, which is reflected positively on improving the quality of the loaves produced in these two bakeries.
Muhanna pointed out that the March 8 bakery will be added to the bakeries of Al-Qurayya, Al-Tha'ala, Al-Mazraa and channels operating under the supervision system in the governorate.
Muhanna indicated that the 8th of March Automatic Bakery in As-Suwayda is working on one production line after another production line in it stopped working more than three years ago, with a daily capacity of 12 tons, and it provides the needs of Attil, the city of As-Suwayda, and several neighboring villages.
The number of general automated bakeries in As-Suwayda is 8, three of which are As-Suwayda, Shahba, and Salkhad. They operate under the management system and the rest are under the supervision system.
