President Yitzhak Herzog spoke tonight (Friday) with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has called for strongly condemning the terrorist attacks that have claimed the lives of 11 victims in the past two weeks.
According to the President's announcement, Erdogan sought to send his condolences to the bereaved families who had lost loved ones and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
Herzog thanked him for the important words and noted that an innocent life was taken in the heinous attacks and that this is a very great tragedy.
The two added and emphasized that on the eve of the holidays for all religions, Ramadan, Passover and Easter, action should be taken to maintain peace and quiet in the entire area.
The President wished the President of Turkey, his family and the citizens of all Turkey - Ramadan Karim.
Erdogan signed: "On my behalf and on behalf of the citizens of all of Turkey, I would like to wish the citizens of Israel and the Jewish people a happy Passover."
Erdogan also sought to deliver a speedy recovery to Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who fell ill in Corona.
