One week before the first round of the presidential election, the war in Ukraine continues to dominate the news to the detriment of national issues.
To the point that many observers deplore an impeded debate.
This is all the more damaging since the war in Ukraine, and the sanctions imposed on Russia, will have direct consequences on the lives of the French, amplifying the economic and social malaise from which many are suffering.
The economic journalist, François Lenglet, predicts that “Europe will be the great economic victim of this war, because of its dependence vis-à-vis Russia, in particular as regards energy”.
If for France, less dependent on hydrocarbons than Germany in particular, the shock could be less violent, inflation will still affect us indirectly,
To this economic and social insecurity is added the physical and cultural insecurity which has not disappeared.
